Everyone has those small little odd walls in their apartment or home where there is absolutely no room for a large painting.  Plus, frankly, sometimes larger paintings are just not in the budget.  Enter: small paintings in a vignette setting. I have spent the last few months spending hours of researching abstract techniques: some old and some new.  Many of the new techniques are generously provided by Jane Davies.  The videos are usually short (10 minutes or less) and always leave you wanting more.  I am looking forward to her online workshop "Keys To Dynamic Composition" in March.  Meanwhile, here are some of the abstracts that I have been working on lately.
