New "Newds" and some Architecture

Traveling is what I love almost as much as I love painting and one of my favorite things about traveling (particularly in Europe) is the gorgeous architecture: Baroque, Belle Époque ... I just love it. Drawing it and painting it has always a challenge for me, however, I think I fared pretty well with these! I like the first painting of Santa Maria Della Salute in Venice, Italy: loose and semi-abstract are my goals here.

New Adventures

I have spent the last few months spending hours of researching abstract techniques: some old and some new.  Many of the new techniques are generously provided by Jane Davies.  The videos are usually short (10 minutes or less) and always leave you wanting more.  I am looking forward to her online workshop "Keys To Dynamic Composition" in March.  Meanwhile, here are some of the abstracts that I have been working on lately.
